The main reason we are dithering over nonsense like this is because a minority of people (mainly liberal Democrats) have developed heightened sensitivities toward the issue and are attempting to force those beliefs on the rest of us by law. It's intellectually dishonest to toss in the "race card" in an effort to rescue your position Steven. A moment of silence isn't teaching religion. Neither is occasionally mentioning the word God. But you know that. I suspect the founders saw a different vision of the first amendment than the one you share. I suppose we will just have to agree to disagree on this one. Michael
