Denison ordered to pay terminated workers
- Saturday, April 22, 2000

The Greek court has determined that Denison Mines Ltd. should make further payments to the former
unionized employees of the Prinos oil and gas operations, the Toronto-based company said. The court,
which has yet to issue its ruling formally, has determined that the terminations in December, 1998, were
invalid and awarded the 227 former employees an interim payment totalling about $1.1-million and lost
salaries. Denison said the amount owing could be a further $4-million to $10-million, and it is filing
appeals.
