To Ali, And what is your definition of "IS". When a backer of Rambus posts a one month old report you hammer us. When we talk of doubling bandwith you call it vaporware. Yet we see old garbage reports from Tom's and "VAPORWARE" DDR products from you. Re-read your post. I see a big MAYBE available sometime in 4th quarter. No real board, just a prototype. By the time it arrives I will be rooting whole hog for it anyway, since I fully expect Rambus to be collecting royalties on it. Let's count: SUN PMCS VTSS SITERA MOT LU LSI SONY TXN all have Rambus based products. Intel designed RDRAM into their chipset. 50+ PC products with RDRAM. Uh? How many for DDR? Tell me please what is DDR's value chain?
