lizardlick: Nice post. I keep hearing that later this week there may be "bad" economic news coming. This may very well occur. But watch how the "market" reacts to this news. Bad news that doesn't knock the market (or a stock) down is often a buying opportunity. The same applies to "good news" during an up-market. I recall a lot of good news three months or so ago. I'd pull up chart after chart and what I saw was disturbing...they weren't moving up on good news. This didn't mean they had to collapse...but it was a warning flag. Why were stocks making what appeared to be distributional tops? Who was selling enough stock into this "good news" to halt the multi-year up-market? So I'm not terribly concerned about "bad" news later this week; I AM concerned how the "market" reacts to the news. (Lee)
