Be careful, okay?
No worries there. Still spinning on dimes ; ),but thank you for the good thoughts. I was actually pretty early this year in turning bearish, and that's why I had so many chips off the table before it had gotten really ugly. At this point, I'm not sure how low we go. I've often found when I'm feeling the most convinced of a particular scenario, the market surprises me. I'm being very careful about the issues I play, sticking to the ones that won't spin out of control so fast that I can't get a decent exit.
First and foremost, and why I come to this thread, is that I'm a trader. While I would prefer the luxury of staying in my positions for weeks or months, I've adapted to minutes, hours, or days until a bottom is placed. The only economic data coming out today is housing starts, which I think should be a benign number. All that said, I'm sure I'll be back to cash before I leave for work today, because it's impossible to leave things on the table right now.
I'm thinking of looking out over the entire spectrum of investment vehicles to see where some $$ can be made
Let us know what you come up with!
Again, thanks for your thoughts.
