I received Intel's annual report last night. Pleasant reading. Made me feel very comfortable with WIND's future, and I20. A few tidbits....

"Servers, the engines of the Internet, are booming: according to our estimates, only about 4% of the servers that will be needed by the year 2005 are currently on line"

"Intel dedicated about half of its microprocessor R&D investments in 1999 to new products for the server and workstation market segments. This has centered particularly on the IA-64 processor architecture...we expect this architecture to become the backbone of the Internet."

"In five to eight years, we believe the world will be linked by one billion connected computers, through tens of millions of servers, generating trillions of dollars of e-commerce."

Allen Benn couldn't have said it better!
