I know that chaz. If 3G can be had with CDMA 2000 1XRTT and HDR, why does DDI have to go through the hassle of bidding then? Will they have two systems, operating at the same time? No, one will be phased out, what can be used will be used. But if they decide to go with DS-CDMA, why would they bother continuing on the upgrade path? They would trash and switch they will stop at 1 XRTT and might even not hassle with HDR and that is what QCOM wants to stop.
