Doesn't represent too many ounces of production. Other than Agnico (150k) Glamis (175k) TVX (400K) and Viceroy (150k), most are VERY small miners. All of the $225+ producers could probably shut down and have no significant impact on the primary gold supply.

I think the Bema Gold number is wrong, 1998 cash costs at Refugio were $313, but since Kinross took over management it is down to $277 for 1999, and is on track for 115k ounces at $230 for 2000.

Dayton will move cash cost down with the acquisition of Denton-Rawhide and Mirage Resources.
Goldcorp appears to be in very good shape for higher production and lower cash cost with new zones at Red Lake.
