I understand that MSFT has different pricing outside the US. How much of this is due to channels? I do not think that MSFT uses the same chanel for international distribution. Also, they are forced to deliver special package due to export restrictions (thanks Uncle Sam). I suspect that the lower volume has a lot to do with the pricing. Do you know how much of the cost is due to VAT (if any)? David
