This is very positive news: KJ, I agree that the most significant aspect of the release is that it is an endorsement of Ancor technology by one of the major players. One aspect that nobody has commented on yet is how fast Ancor has caught up to Brocade. I also noted this difference in the press releases: "The SANbox-based Connectrix DS-16A switches will support the FibreAlliance-developed Fibre Channel Management Integration MIB, which provides a common method of managing multiple devices across a heterogeneous storage network." I don't know if Brocade's switches support the FA MIB. I seem to recall some controversy about this, but on the other hand it seems unlikely that EMC would OEM them if they did not. George
