George W Bush I think this whole issue will go away if George W Bush wins in November. The Clinton administration has been very closely aligned with Silicon Valley since before it was elected the first time. I believe the case against Microsoft is partly related to politics. From what I have read, BIll Gates may be aligning himself with George W Bush. If so, I think the whole thing will go away if he is elected. (in some face saving manner) The fiasco in Miami is helping GWB's cause. That's another large state in his corner along with Texas.
