Haven't seen any real news related to CUBE posted here so here's some. We do know CUBE had licensed a bunch of Asian manufacturer to use the C-Cube inside brand but this was the first piece of news that announced a company was actually using it. Interesting to note that they went into production in May. At least here's a bit of evidence that VCD is not already dead. 06/13 2002 China's First Batch of Portable VCDs Enter Market SHENZHEN, June 13, AsiaInfo Services, Inc -- The Weiyong 961P portable VCDs, jointly developed by the Sino-Singapore joint venture, the Yuanwei Science and Technology Co. Ltd. and the Weiyong Multi Media Co., has been put into production in Shenzhen and was put onto market in May this year.
