Donner Corp. International Reiterates Buy Recommendation On Medix Resources, Inc.
SANTA ANA, Calif., April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is being issued by Donner Corporation International, a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers, CRD number 37702:
Donner Corp. International, an Investment Banking firm headquartered in Santa Ana, Calif., today reiterated its Buy Recommendation on Medix Resources, Inc. (AMEX:MXR), Englewood, Colorado. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cymedix Lynx Corporation, Medix Resources offers a suite of fully secured patented Internet communications software products to the healthcare industry.
The reiteration is based on several recent announcements by Medix, including:
-- Listing of its common stock on the American Stock Exchange.
Previously, Medix traded under the symbol MDIX on the Over the Counter
Bulletin Board. This provides brokers greater freedom to recommend
Medix and could significantly increase the number of investors in the
Company. Also, it should reduce the cost of raising capital and
provide Medix greater flexibility in future financings.
-- Appointment of John T. Lane as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Lane is retired managing director of J.P. Morgan, a major financial
institution, and services as vice chairman of a large regional HMO and
director of a major regional healthcare provider. Medix believes this
combination of financial and health care experience will prove
invaluable in its growth strategy.
"We believe Medix' stock is undervalued and poised to grow significantly as its patented line of B2B Internet healthcare ("iHealth") management solutions continues to gain industry-wide recognition," Donner said.
