I suspect this is just another Intel stall tactic...as in "Just wait until you see our new super duper chip, don't waste your efforts on Athlon because Willy is just around the corner." So they get a few Willys and let certain OEMS see them run...under controlled conditions I'm sure. This groveling is sad. Surely Intel wants to rush Willy out ASAP but this just opens another can of worms. Bugs, bugs, and more bugs not to mention a slow ramp and expensive RAMBUS...whose stock jumps every time an article comes out to the effect they haven't yet been dumped by Intel... AMD is about ready to take a real bite out of Intels ego... Jim
