I didn't forget but maybe this Pat fellow forgot the Willy needs a chipset...a few motherboards etc...
Intel is increasing capital spending and FAB space over the next few years in hopes of Willy and Merced I suspect.
OTOH, Intel just is getting their Coppermine ramp going...so then they will have to switch over so FAB space to get Willy off the ground. This is another reason for a slow ramp. No volume until 2001...this is what I said in December 99.
