JDSU/ETEK - Susan et al - long time no "see" I'm holding ETEK, currently trading at a 26% discount to the 2.2 share buyout by JDSU. If any good news comes out during the conference call about when the deal is going to be finalized the gap could narrow. It had been as high as 35% yesterday and low as 23% today. I've heard from a good and reliable source that spoke with the companies last week that they are going to complete the deal by the end of this quarter. I know that the Justice Department was looking into the merger, and that's the reason for the wide spread. Hopefully some good numbers and encouraging dates come out of the conference call. I'm hoping to keep ETEK/JDSU as a long term hold also... Good luck
