Reg- Any developer right now is writing for the Web. That is the biggest market share of all and the main reason that Microsoft was dragged into court. The development tools are desktop which is what the Sun vs Microsoft suit is all about and the delivery system are servers which is why the focus is turning to Win2000. A breakup keeps these parts from colluding with each other and opens the market up to some serious new ideas. That was what Netscape was all about. A breath of fresh air in the stodgy era of 1995. Re small footprint. CE is a failure. Given Microsoft's distortions of the truth Embedded NT might not have anything to do with NT and may bight be just a variant of CE. If you're so sure of Microsoft's technology why not buy a Pocket PC and see how much it improves your life. Harvey
