EleTel Inc. Appoints Investor Relations Firm

EleTel Inc. today announced that, subject to regulatory approval,
it has selected Hume, Kieran Inc., of Toronto, for the Company's
investor relations counsel.
The Company's investor relations program will focus on investor
communications and interaction with the financial community. The
program will include the arrangement of visits by EleTel's
management to financial community leaders in both eastern and
western Canada.
The principals of Hume, Kieran are Catherine D. Hume and Jon W.
Kieran, and the firm has a complement of nine full-time people.
Its predecessor, Kieran and Co. Inc., a business founded by Mr.
Kieran, has specialized in investor relations services to
emerging companies for more than forty years. Hume, Kieran
services some twenty companies in a broad range of industries.
The majority of its clients are listed on the Toronto Stock
Exchange.
EleTel Inc. developed and markets Callex(TM) VPIM Internet voice
and fax messaging software. The Company is a leader in the
development of VPIM protocol (Voice Profile for Internet Mail)
