The phrase "a society that has respect for God" strongly suggests religious uniformity within that society. This is the antithesis of religious freedom as we know the idea. Thus I would imagine that such a society would only respect its fellow man so long as that fellow man toes the line of the official religion.

Do you truly long for such a restrictive society? What if a denomination other than yours got to decide the nuts&bolts of how God was to be officially and socially respected?
