Yeah.....I hear you. It's a result of the new internet market. Yahoo, SI, etc show aftermarket bid/ask and last sales as a part of their quoting systems.

I had to go back to regular time and sales to get the last regular hours quote. It seems that it's slowly all blending together and that one day when the markets are open all the time, there never will be "a closing quote".

Another expression destined to go the way of the dinosaurs.
