When you are expressing this belief you are also declaring patriotism to the religion of your fathers. The values, morals, and cultural way of life that you hold to has roots here. You feel strongly about it because your value system (moral foundation) developed along this path and you BELIEVE others must know about it. You are not so different than the Christians who want the ten commandments posted.
