OUCH!!! Wow, did they miss. The report looked positive for the future optic and semi biz, but man did they miss numbers. I initial feeling is VECO gets taken out and shot tomorrow. The fact that the DD biz is suffering is not too much of a surprise, although nobody likes to see a company miss numbers by 50%. I'll be watching this one unfold, it would be nice to pick up VECO under 50, although it might not get that bad. Whew! Tom
