So was implementation of Windows on the Intel PC innovative? In my view yes. But even those who think that
Microsoft's development of Windows for the PC was not innovative,

I am sure this expalins why Apple sued Microsoft for copyright infringement???

But in the late 80's, Apple wanted to sell it's own computer - and because Apple wanted
to sell both the computer and the operating system, they allowed themselves to miss just an incredible revenue stream
(some claim it was Apple's arrogance that allowed them to miss this market).

This is true but this was due to the CEO at that time, John Scully, sho just about buried the firm. Bad marketing but not lack of innovation. Are we comparing marketing here or innovation? If it si innovation, Microsoft has innovated nothing but they did a great job of marketing. Some legal but much proven illegal.
