Yes, that 43,000 oz was for fourth quarter. ELD goal for 2000 is 185,000 oz at $200.

I guess my point is that juniors and intermediates have historically been the explorers and developers for the majors. Indeed many majors got their starts as intermediate producers. One would hope to see more lower cost producers in this class than that list indicates, as a healthy sign or pulse of future production potential. The fact that there are so few, regardless of relative production levels, bodes poorly for that.

I think this industry needs more than a few mega firms to stay healthy and grow given the diverse and specialized worldwide exploration effort required. But, I do agree that consolidation is needed for many to get to the required critical mass, and in fact wonder why this isn't happening.
