Mr. Elliot, GTE is in a class of it's own. GTE is nation wide and provides long distance as well as regional service. GTE is the largest phone company in the world. The baby bells are all regional leaving ATT as the other player. I disagree that $29 is a fair price in lieu of the last quarterly report and that netstocks are coming back into vogue. Yes, there are other netstocks that are targets, but only one backbone of the industry. It would cost any telcom provider twice the $29/share to get as good of a position in the net as BBN has, with no guarantee of achieving the same value. Bill
