JT, good luck on the Alpine fiasco. As for the overall market and my reluctance to commit new funds to any purchases (including O&G), the recent market volatility reminds me of the summer of '97. Some of us were there and survived the fall in the Fall. I feel that I may just try to trade stocks on news (very short term trading). There is a an interesting conference call at netbriefing.com, with TS TELECOM's Randy Hung. It's about 24 minutes long, you need to register first (freebie). I'll listen to it another day. Cya
