<< OK, so the embargo against Cuba is not a matter of principle, it's pure politics to win some votes in Florida and New Jersey? >>

Oh, I don't know what your's or anyone elses motivations are. To me, I want to keep the embargo on Cuba, in order to keep Castro from getting the funds to resume his old ways of exporting terrorism and misery to other countries.

<< If an embargo would upset the world economy (e.g. China) it shouldn't be imposed? >>

When I said that the world would suffer by an embargo on China, I wasn't just taking about economies. I'll let you guess or wonder what else could happen because of an embargo on China.

<< OK, at least we agree that the embargo against Cuba is politics not principle. >>

You are merely agreeing with yourself, with this statement. I don't care about the political reasons for the embargo. I only care about keeping blood money out of Castro's hands. The people of Cuba would benefit little from lifting the embargo. Castro, one of the wealthiest men in the world (while his people suffer) would just get wealthier.
