Someone on this board mentioned that Senator Tom DeLay wasn't too bright. After watching him last night on Larry King I must concur. DeLay insisted that a 6 year old child should have the right to ask for political asylum. King asked him if a 1 year old baby should have the right, to which DeLay retorted YES. King asked whether a faetus should also have the same right and once again DeLay replied YES. I'd like to see this brilliant senator work at the INS for a couple of days and have him persuade 1 year olds to ask for political asylum. After a couple of days on the job, I think the senator would be ready to be locked up in an asylum.
