Has everyone seen the recent numbers from JDS Uniphase, Nortel, SDL, Corning??? The optical era of broadband is here and has the potential to eclipse even Moore's law in its implications for society and wealth creation in general. The component companies are getting the attention now (and rightfully so) but guess who's buying and integrating these technologies into the most comprehensive, economic, cutting-edge, planetary, next generation network on the globe? in a few years (it does take some time for the herd to shift focus) the attention will finally be directed our way "oh i get it now, gblx isn't a phone company selling long distance!"- just a little foresight and a lot of patience. the future is bright indeed- fwiw jeremic
