Gus, if I only knew what kind of fundamentals the market may have tomorrow, I would be on my own little island! <vbg>
I had absolutely no idea that IBM had higher revenues than the companies you mentioned (all of which I also own), which tells me that I'm not paying proper attention to issues that really affect us directly. I guess it's the left-over girl scout in me -I still hate injustice (and hearing Roger McNamee on Squawk Monday saying "hey, it's the American way" seriously made my blood boil-can't help it - I'm Southern and Scottish to boot - fiery combination -just ask my husband!)
Stitch, boy were you right-on in your comments yesterday about the pc business being prematurely left for dead. I listened to the CPQ cc today, and it was very interesting, to say the least. They were so bullish on Win2000 - hhhmmm. Methinks our friends from Redmond may be exaggerating to the downside yet again, but who knows.
I'm off to find that life I have seemed to have misplaced so frequently lately. I've really enjoyed corresponding with all of you and have learned soooo much. Thanks for putting up with me, best of luck, and hope to encounter you all later! (and, hopefully, under more pleasant circumstances - but nothing like a little controversy for a tad of excitement - still think those guys will get their due, though, and that will be the most gratifying of all - Southern Scots tend to be vengeful! <vbg>)
Take care, and thank you all, trish |
