Tekboy,

then why are you holding several percent cash in your portfolio? what, you haven't seen any bargains in the last 10 days? you think we're going to Naz2K, Mr. Bigshot-Wizard-Who-Doesn't-Try-To-Time-The-Market? <GGGG>

The funny thing is that until a couple weeks ago I had twice as much cash. I used it to add more Gemstar to my portfolio one morning. By the end of the day the stock had fallen 20%. Yet another example of why I don't try to time anything.

On the other hand, I do think Gemstar was a far better purchase at $50 than at $100. And at $50 I was averaging way up, not down. :)

Sorry to disappoint you in your thinking that your options that have lost 96% of their value constitute a record breaker even for this informed thread. Almost all options expire worthless. Your candor is to be commended but I'd be willing to bet there are participants in this thread who have had them expire. One of them might even be Uncle Frank's evil twin in the days when the good twin had virtually no influence. :)
