Toy:MSFT used its monopoly in its PC OS platform to enter and dominate and unrelated product group (the internet browser software). Except for the MSFT Lemmings (like you) and the expectedly loyal MSFT employees, the vast majority of the industry saw quite clearly that MSFT used its monoploy to take over this browser market from Netscape. Without this OS monopoly, MSFT would never after taken over the Browser market. They did not take over Browser marketshare because they had a better product (of course I am very sure you might actually believe the opposite).

Isn't it odd that the latest proposal for breakup leaked by the DOJ calls for a split up wherein the browser group would be left as a part of the O/S company and not with the applications company? This remedy undercuts the phony premise in italics above. JFD
