DistributedMedia.com, Inc. in Contract With Prism for High-Speed Internet Connectivity
Prism's Red(SM) Will Deliver Sight & Sound(TM) Audio Advertising to Audiences Nationwide
STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 26, 2000-- DistributedMedia.com, Inc. (DMC), a subsidiary of NCT Group, Inc. (OTCBB: NCTI - news) today announced a contract with Prism Communication Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Comdisco, Inc. (NYSE: CDO - news). DMC will use RED PowerWork(SM) high-speed internet connectivity to link the Company's nationwide microbroadcasting network of Sight & Sound(TM) systems. Through RED(SM), DistributedMedia.com will digitally control Sight & Sound systems from its central network in Stamford, Conn.

DistributedMedia.com will use RED PowerWork lines to deliver audio advertising and music to Sight & Sound systems in locations from retail stores to public facilities. DistributedMedia.com's Sight & Sound systems are digitally controlled from the company's home office via the Internet. The company plans to serve 5000 to 6000 locations nationwide by 2001.
