The Koreans seem to be backing away from any references to cdma2000. At the same time, they are stressing the importance of IMT-2000 - regardless of IS-95 upgrades. Now... what could that mean?

Sorry Tero....I've been reading the Korean press/corporate websites for a long time. They have always used the term IMT-2000 instead of CDMA2000 or W-CDMA. If they want to specify they have generally used (especially SK Telecom) the term synchronous vs assynchronous IMT-2000.

The Koreans may go with W-CDMA....but it is tough to tell from that article.
