Greenspan's latest musings about gold: On another thread there was some discussion regarding above, where Greenspin volunteered that they might one day look back with nostalgia to the good old simpler days when currencies were backed by gold. The ominous phrase that I recall (speaking about monetary gold) "by those of us engaged to replace it". Just wondered if you had any views about this, apologize if it has already been covered. Phil
