Are you really that dumb? A very large vacuum will be created by the death of Castro. These people have been pushed around by Castro for decades, who is going to push them around now? It could be Castro is seriously ill right now, maybe the CIA knows something and these overtures are desperate attempts by the administration to gain a peaceful foothold. Otherwise it does not make sense. Name one country that has made the transition from communism or rule by tyrant peacefully. I can't think of one.
