Yes, this is an unclear value at best. How much stuff was already in the pipe before the upturn? Some shelves were bare, but not all! And billing and shipping are not identical either. And-- If the manufacturing line was starved at the beginning, how long did it take to fill up, so that true backlogs could begin to accumulate?

But then, if it were easy, WE wouldn't have to analyze it, eh? <grin>
