Ok Steve,

First off, do you know that some US brokerages do not accept Canadian customers? That could be messing up your transfer.

Seriously, I am not really bashing you. But transfers get messed up for a variety of reasons. Anything that can go wrong usually does. (For any broker.)

I strongly suggest that you call EGRP. If they have not made the transfer yet, Demand that they send you your certificates. Get the certificates in your hand. And deliver them to your new broker. You can accomplish this much faster than any broker handled transfer will get done.

If you are trying to transfer options. I suggest you give up.

Further EGRP has SIPC insurance to protect customer assets. The limits are normally $100,000 cash, $5 Million stock.
