Wow, Motorola! That's a shocker! This confers legitimacy, big time. The stock is no longer at "super bargain" levels but sure is a bargain now. At this rate we'll be in the black in 4Q 1997...

I just read an article that put Motorola at #1 in terms of telecommunications equipment manufacturers. A French company was #2, Lucent #3, and Siemens around #4 or #5.

Meanwhile, all the analysts have the big buy ratings out on Documentum, with positive earnings yet really quite modest sales.

I don't really want to say this as me and my portfolio have been ignoring OTEXF for a while lately, but I think my $15 target for 1997 is no problem and I also think that $14 is something of a turning point. It is at this level that the heavy publicity will kick in...timed perfectly for when earnings turn positive.

In other words, after $14, the institutions and publicity machine will get it to $20. (Still working on my theory that $200 million market cap is the minimum threshold to make Montgomery's Small Cap High Tech Index.)
