Calm down. A federal judge is appointed for life, so I can assure you that he is no ones puppet. The only way to remove a federal judge is if he retires, dies, or is impeached and convicted by congress. JJ may be anti-microsoft, but these are his opinions for whatever reason. Hopefully, the appeals court will agree with microsofts arguments as to why the verdict should be set aside. The law allows for the possibility that one judge can get it wrong and that's why there are multiple levels of appeal. Steve
