lets keep our eyes open,changes are hard to spot.i agree though intel is the big dog,but amd's challenge has not been greater than now imo.the success of the production line really is impressive.
thats so unlike amd and thats whats so scary.
the chart of amd isnt lying either.


I don't know enough about AMD's production capabilities to comment -- our discussion was really focused on Intel's response to AMD's perceived success. As for the AMD chart, one has to wonder if it would have looked so good if Intel hadn't shot itself in the foot. Remember that Gateway pitched AMD out of their product line-up last Fall and had committed 100% to Intel until Intel screwed up their availability at which time Gateway reestablished their relationship with AMD.

Intel has a little image rebuilding to do, without a doubt.
