There is absolutely no reason why this should not be interpreted as a good move by current investors. I have been wondering how long competition would serve as an impediment to a return to profitability to these companies. Some of that competition is merging. Economies of scale, reduction in redundant systems, and doubtless additional reductions in work force. I was wondering how long it would be before the thin disk manufacturers made some real progress.
