to all: does qcom make any money on w-cdma or just cdma2000? btw, kudos to the w-cdma group for their excellent name branding. the w clearly represents "wideband" and that IS the hot button. it seems the markets have decided that w-cdma is REAL competition to cdma2000 and qcom may lose the battle and all those billions in profits longer term. check out the charts... siliconinvestor.com qcom is getting killed and nok is hanging tough. is there any legal hassle w/ w-cdma or is qcom sol? tia...
