JL, << IS-2000, are you referring to 1x-cdma2000 or 3x-cdma2000 >> IS-2000 is a newly coined term for cdma2000. I guess it refers to both 1x & 3x, but I am not sure. Tough to keep up with the vocabulary, is it not? << I have been under the impression that 1x-cdma2000 is further along from commercial deployment than w-cdma >> I believe it may be, but we will have to wait till it is commercially deployed. It is not yet even in test phase, so far as I know. w-cdma is. As for 'w-cdma', I am really more interested in the standardized version of same, UMTS (Release99). - Eric -
