dot coms are dying, money for Internet start ups now where to be found. This is excellent for CSCO. Fewer communications start-ups to compete with and fewer to take great employees away. You postulate that these start-ups and .coms are a significant percentage of Cisco's business but I don't believe it is. Do you have numbers that support the lack of these companies will impact revenue? How much? I think your assumption about VC shying away from start-ups is... well... wrong. I know these guys. They're being more discerning but they are still investing heavily. YOu make a number of unsustantiated assumptions about fund mangers, and analysts and their expecations but I've not heard anything like what you're posting Bambs. Nice trys... how about some substance.... or you could simply move on. Your pontificating is getting old. OG
