Tom - I am excited about their discoveries from hormones from the sharks. They've made some mentions of their patents on the this in the past, and delivered some papers with university and NIH research. The washington Post gave them lots of prominence in their health section. Their new products may truly be the new wave of antibiotics. Remember that current antibiotics have been losing effectiveness, but based on their research to date, there is no indication that Magainins will ever have this problem - one of the advantages of peptides, I believe. I'm pleased that the company is not attempting to overplay or oversell what their potential is - lots of biotechs do this, but Magainin has been very professional. Some very fine specialists in the biotech field have been touting the company for some time and things are looking better all of the time... Mark - You're right - I think that they have been preparing their stats for some time, and have been progressing well. I may give them a call this week to see if they are providing any details on where they are at this time. I asked a friend at the FDA if drugs that are topical with demonstrated non-toxicity get any expedited treatment by the FDA. He is not involved with approvals for biotechs, but should be able to provide us with some guidelines. Some day (why not today) you may be calling me a genius or a nut, but I think that 3 years from now the stock will be around $100. This is more than enough reason to be patient. And more importantly, I believe that many important cures will be made from Magainins. I enjoy the chat... Shep
