To all

This is a first time post for me with some things I just need to say out loud and this seemed like the best and safest place to do it. Some of you may want to skip on to the next post.....

Anyway, I am compelled to speak about the impact of angels in my life. I, too, know they are everywhere and if I simply get out of my own way I will be cared for in every way needed. Just because that is simple to understand or say doesn't mean it is easy to do. I will not bore you all with details or examples. It is not necessary and the message of each experience is the same for all.

I do want to say something more about how much stronger I am feeling regarding my investing philosophy and skills. I attribute that directly to reading the threads on SI. Tonight as I read about angel stories that were so generously shared here I knew something powerful was happening for me. I have become clearer in myself that I need to invest from a position of strength not fear or weakness. I know I am not a trader at heart, more long term buy and hold of companies I believe in and can understand to some extent. Ones that feel right to me, not just appear fundamentally and financially sound. That is the part I have been dismissing up until tonight. That intuitive, angel given part that only needs to be heard not intellectually understood. I know i will honor that part in my decisions now, and also know that doesn't mean they will always be simple necessarily, or stress-free! But I know I can trust them and when information changes I can change my choices. That is very freeing and comforting at the same time.

I have done well so far with my portfolio. My dilemma has been how to create a cash flow without going back to banging nails. (I have been a carpenter and a builder for 25 years or so.) I am learning about covered calls and will soon hopefully write my first as a means of generating income.

I guess I just needed to say this all out loud. I also want to thank all of you who so graciously share yourselves and your experiences so openly on this thread. I would not be in the position I am without that. My life is truly changed for all I have gained from your generosity. Thank you. And thank you for letting me share (although I guess you really didn't have a choice!)

Now I humbly step back and return to listening.....

regards,

MCO

PS It will take alot of my courage to submit this and not delete it....!!!!
