I have been to the whale pasture I didn't know it was. I have seen it do that some years worse than others. My guess
is conditions that cause the stuff to grow more and the off
shore currents change to bring it inshore. Course IDKJS (g).
I remember one time working off shore shrimpers and we ran
upon a huge patch of it. Just about every piece you picked up had a tiny little seahorse in it.
