Agreed, they haven't bought mature companies. I'm not sure I'd classify TKLC as a "mature" company, but, that's beside the point. More importantly, given CSCO's astronomical PE and the difficulty of continuing to grow a company the size of CSCO(at rate that can support that PE)I feel that is going to change. I think CSCO will take a very hard look at any company that fits their product/market mix well and is growing revenues and profits as fast or faster than CSCO.
