Cynic-gotcha -ggg- ----- Regarding the previous discussion about volatility and gaps. members.xoom.com This shows in graphic form the gap trend in the NASDAQ composite going back to 1984. Up gaps are above the zero, down gaps below. It is pretty stunning. A did a similar graph for intraday volatility and it is strongly correlated as one might expect. ----- I expected bad ECI as many did. I am more interested now to see how much was discounted.
